Usually, we go to Topeka for the Fourth with Bret's mom's family, but Bret had to work. The Fourth was just a regular Tuesday in the police world! This year, we celebrated the Fourth of July in Gardner. A couple of the Brown cousins live in Gardner as well, so we went to their house to eat and set off a few fireworks before Bret went off to work.
Like every Fourth, Bret likes to show is patriotism through his clothing. He has passed that onto William and dresses our little one up as well. They do look pretty amazing together!
